Welcome all! And to the many new folks here - I am SO glad you’re joining us into The Heart Space Center - big, warm, welcome!❤️

 

It’s been less than two weeks since I last reached out, and The Heart Space Center has so much exciting stuff coming up, new offerings, and more, that we’re back!

FREE COMMUNITY CONCERT - WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2!

The Heart Space Center is honored to be a part of this special, free community event on Wednesday, October 2 at 3pm (doors open at 2pm for a mental health resource fair). The event will feature a concert by Grammy Award Winning group Tonality at The Morrison Center for the Performing Arts ✨

 

Join this special event to both give and receive support for members of our Boise community - offering and receiving compassion, understanding, and validation.

Listed in the new Upcoming Events page, and, we’re so excited about it, mentioning it here, too! The Heart Space Center is STOKED to host our official Launch Retreat - the Embodied Creativity Retreat on Saturday, October 19! Check it out and register to snag your spot, and have us pre-order your Heart Space Center shirt of choice!

 

As of the beginning of September, online booking is also now available. This is an easy way to book your first consultation or your next 1:1 session. We’re still fine-tuning everything, so appreciate any patience that may be needed as we navigate through this growth.

BREATH COACHING + A PRACTICE FOR YOU

Updates to the website will reflect our Breath Coach offering, SOON, and we are starting to work with Explorers already.

 

The breath gives us life.

It’s with us from the day we arrive into this body until the day we depart.

 

And we often give it little thought.

 

But there is so much more we can offer to, and receive from, the breath.

 

Breath Coaching can help address fatigue, anxiety, digestion, and more! Even just the practice of simply re-teaching ourselves to breath in the way we’re all made to breathe; from the diaphragm, can be incredibly profound!

EXHALING THROUGH A STRAW


A simple practice that I’ve found to be super helpful for stress and anxiety - called, simply, exhaling through a straw.

 

No, we’re not exhaling through a literal straw.😆

 

A quick overview of this practice for you, in case you’d like to try it yourself!

 

Take a few moments, or minutes, to connect with the natural flow of your breath. Not changing anything at all; just bringing your awareness to it.

 

If possible, allow the breath to come in through the nostrils.

 

After a few moments, or minutes of just being with the natural flow of your breath; breathing in through the nostrils, purse the lips as if you were going to drink through a straw. Continue breathing naturally, inhaling through nostrils, and with each exhale, exhale out those pursed lips. Inhale nostrils, exhale pursed lips.

 

This is a great way to welcome the body into a parasympathetic, rest and digest state.

 

I find it to be very relaxing and supportive - I hope you do, too!
